Our Hall Of Fame

Below you will find many of the dogs which are very dear to us.

Our Founding Board of Directors; Chunka & Nikki

GMHR MHR North Country Knee-Hi Niki
Niki was one of Gregs dogs that got hit by a car just weeks after achieving her GMHR title. She was a small package of dynamite May she rest in peace.

GMHR MHR WR SR North Country's Super Sport
Sport was the product of a gift from Greg to Rick in 1990. He sired over 20 litters in his lifetime, with many of his offspring around the Pacific Northwest. He gave it all despite him being Ricks' first attmept at fully training a retriever. Sometimes when a hunter misses a bird, I still think I can hear him "barking his friendly tease" at them. May he rest in peace. 1990-2002.

GMHR MHR WR SR North Country's Many Pearl
There will never be another Pearl! She is the finest dog I have had an opportunty to own or work with. She completed her GMHR title by getting 15 straight qaulifications. She will always be my precious Pearl. She was laid to rest on December 11th, 2007. She will be missed, but will live in our hearts forever. She is now with her father GMHRCH Riptide Tuly and his beloved master Mark Lowmiller, who will also live in our hearts forever.

MHR WR SR North Country's Maggie Mae
Maggie is actually Robins dog, but is trained and handled by Rick. Maggie is our only Chocolate Lab, and was spayed at age 2 due to moderate hip displasia. At 8 years old she is running strong and lives to hunt birds and retrieve. She is a real clown, and has an uncanny ability to steal your heart.

MHR/ HRCH North Countrys Brand of Gold.
Brandy was one of Greg's finest pheasant dogs. She produced numerous pups that went on to achieve, both traditional field trial and gun dog titles.

CD CDX UD MHR Sir Alexander Justin WCX
--AJ was Greg's first retriever; a Golden at that. Greg did not start training him for the obedience ring or for formal retriever events until he was around 5 years old. He was an awesome hunting companion, an amazing dog that taught Greg well.

HRCH North Countrys Captain Dusty
Dusty was one of Brandys pups sired by AFC FC Candlewoods Captain Kid. Dusty was an excellent gun dog, used extensively at SODAK Pheasant Camp. He has sired numerous Gun Dog titled pups.

SR North Country's Kelly girl
SR North Country's Kelly Girl. Kelly is one of Rick's dogs who is out of GMHR-MHR-WR-SR North Country's Many Pearl and AFC-CFC-CAFC Chugach Hills Jazz's Rascal MH. Kelly's career is one of hunting and whelping wonderful puppies. She is a very strong persistent hunter. She is also Spirits' mother. She is now retired and drawing K-9 Social Security from Steve and Danna Dal Porto in Quincy Washington.

My neighbor has two dogs. One of them says to the other, 'Woof!' The other replies, 'Moo!' The dog is perplexed. 'Moo? Why did you say, 'Moo'?' The other dog says, 'I'm trying to learn a foreign language.- Morey Amsterdam
