STUD SERVICE AGREEMENT

 We guarantee a successful breeding of 4 or more puppies.  Litters of less than 4 puppies will result in a stud fee pro-rated at $100 per puppy, unless otherwise negotiated.  For natural breedings, no boarding fee will be charged for the first 4 days/3 nights if the dam is left at North Country Kennels for breeding.  A boarding fee of $25 per day will be charged for each day after the intial 3 nights.  Natural breedings are normally 2 natural ties depending on the receptiveness of the bitch.  For any type of artificial breeding, the owner of the dam is responsible for ALL associated expenses, including butnot limited to the veterinarian visit for drawing of semen, storing and transporting the semen to the location of the insemination or surgical implant, travel expenses to and from veterinarian, etc.  For natural breedings, the dam must have a negative brucellosis test within the last 90 days.   The stud fee will be either $500 or first pick of the litter with delivery of the puppy at 49 days of age.  If North Country Kennels opts to accept cash in lieu of first pick of the litter, a deposit of $100 is due at the time of the first tie/breeding and the balance is due at the time of signing the registration papers by North Country Kennels, unless other arrangements have been previously negotiated.  If North Country Kennels opts to accept a puppy as payment for stud service, no deposit is required.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns or questions.
